What sets them apart

The largest planet against Earth’s near-twin. Jupiter is more than eleven times wider than Venus and nearly 400 times its mass. Both are wrapped in cloud, but Venus’s is a crushing carbon-dioxide blanket over a rocky surface, while Jupiter’s hydrogen and helium go down thousands of kilometres with no surface at all.
